It has been a long time since we visited the beautiful winery Terrabianca!
We led a Great tour of Chianti Classico from the hotel in the center of Siena with my three new guests from Ohio, the first tour of Springtime in Tuscany in early March. We started at 9:00 am, just after breakfast. We drove forward Vagliagli, a picturesque medieval village, one of the famous spots of the movie “Letters to Juliet” where w took unforgettable pictures.

So we drove to Terrabianca in, where Claudia, responsible for the visits of the estate, was waiting for us, so she welcomed us with a glass of red wine Chianti Classico and drove us for a tour of the vineyards and the visit of the Private Church which overlooks the winery.
So Claudia walked us for a tour of the cellars, and we had a tasting of the wines out in the garden.

The tour included the lunch served during the wine tasting at the Castle, a beautiful estate in the area of Radda in Chianti.

After visiting the Medieval Castle and the delicious lunch, we drove to Castellina in Chianti to visit a boutique winery.

Sandro, the owner of the winery Oliviera, offered us another tasting of his Chianti Classico wine and a great tasting of his organic extra-virgin olive oil.

Before we ended the tour, visiting the Etruscan tombs of the VI Century B.C., an exclusive tour of the archeological spot in Chianti.

We had the last stop in Castellina in Chianti, where we could walk around the village, and we had a Gelato before driving back to Siena.

We got back to Siena at around 6 pm, and after a nice Selfie, our new friends from Ohio could get back to the hotel for a short rest and get ready for a Tuscan dinner in Siena.
