Your personal, bilingual tour guide with Franco Wine Tours is Franco Fadda.

Franco is a native Tuscan, born and raised in Siena, and he knows the Tuscan countryside better than anyone.

Before starting Franco Tours, Franco was a farmer, working the very land so many come to see.

For Franco, guiding visitors through Tuscany is like showing off his home .

He was brought up visiting and driving to the villages and fortresses vacationers now flock to. He was raised hearing the stories of the people, towns, and history of Tuscany.

Franco grew up sampling the best food and wine his home has to offer.

As a native, he knows the places to go, especially the lesser known, even unknown, spots you’d never find on a map or in a travel brochure.

Franco will even help you before you leave home – if you’re not sure where to stay, Franco is happy to give you suggestions for some of the best accommodations in Siena!

Franco also collaborates with Dario Castagno, author of best-selling travel book, “Too Much Tuscan Sun”.

Together, Franco and Dario have guided, educated and toured visitors through and introduced them to the historic and panoramic Tuscan wine country.

As a collector of Brunello di Montalcino for over fifteen years, Franco’s knowledge of Tuscan wine is outstanding.
